What our examinations are and are not

Here we explain how to understand the information from our examinations and treatments, and which limitations are important to be aware of.

Examinations and measurement results

Our complementary examinations and treatments do not replace medical investigation, diagnosis or treatment within healthcare.

Measurement results and recommendations should be understood in light of the purpose and limitations of the specific examination. They should not be used to diagnose or rule out illness on your own. Feel free to ask us what a particular examination can and cannot show.

Thermography does not replace mammography, ultrasound or any other examination recommended by healthcare providers. Follow invitations to screening and seek care if you have symptoms, regardless of the results of an examination with us.

Recommendations and medication

Our advice on lifestyle, diet, exercise and supplements does not replace individual medical advice from your doctor.

Do not stop or change prescribed medication because of an examination or recommendation from us without first speaking to the doctor who prescribed it. If you take medication, have a chronic illness, are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your doctor before starting to use any supplement.
